  Join us for an exciting Youth Pheasant Hunt! 

📅 Date: September 27th, 2025 🕘 Time: 8AM-1PM

📍 Location: The Great Swamp Multiple Use Area on Cornwall Hill Road, Patterson NY

🎯 Pheasant Hunt with our experienced federation volunteers. 

🎯 Specially trained canines will be available to assist with your hunt

🎯 Safety & Hunting Etiquette brief from our local Conservation Police Officers

 👦👧 Requirements: 

1. 1. Junior Hunters (***ages 12 to 15) who have passed a NYS Hunter Safety course and are in possession of a valid NYS small Game License. ***The child must be at least 12-years of age on the day of the hunt and may not yet be 16-years of age on the day of the hunt.

   2. All Junior Hunters (ages 12 & 13) must be accompanied by a parent, legal guardian, or relative over 21 and must have written permission from parent or legal guardian.

   3. Junior Hunters and anyone accompanying them afield must have at minimum of 250 square inches of fluorescent hunter orange or pink outerwear, visible from all directions as per NYS Environmental Conservation Law.

   4. Shooting glasses and ear protection are REQUIRED.

   5. The Junior Hunter must bring their own shotgun and shells. (Any shotgun and ammunition legal for taking upland game under New York State Environmental Conservation Law may be used.)
